Early 4th

A few nights before the 4th we went out to a random road to test

our aresonal of fireworks. We wanted to see what all we had and if we

needed to get more of something before the 4th! i'm pretty sure

some of our stash wouldn't be allowed to be shot off in neighborhood.

this year drew let hayden shoot off anything he wanted!

It did make me nervous when hayden was holding a roman

candle that was lit in the air. then drew threw something that

made loud noise at his feet. he started to aim the roman candle at us

while he was screaming...not good...but it was funny.

Hadley wasn't interested in doing any...she just stood back

and watched the boys...and did ballet moves.

"Safety Sally" (drew) made sure both kids

were wearing shoes and socks so they

wouldn't blow their toes off. i'm not sure crocs

are explosion proof though...

Together at last...

After 4 months we got to see our sweet cousin and nephew, Brooks!

Aunt Courtney and Brooks came to Kansas to visit.

He had changed so much!

We spent the 1st day at the water park and all of the kids had a great time...

Brooks just sat in the water and watched them and

they'd swim by and play with him.

They played in the water on grammy's deck and in the lake
behind their house...

Grandpa and Grammy had a cookout for all the

relatives to come over and see all the kiddos!

Fun was had by all and we can't wait to see them again!

Grandpa was in town last week and got to go to one of Hayden's baseball games. He got a double, a triple, and brought home 4 of the 9 runs we got(so i'm told). Then he got the game ball for player of the game!

Hadley had her first dance recital last Saturday night.

I got to be stage mom for her class which was a lot of fun. All the girls were really excited.

Drew picked a Japanese restaurant for his birthday. Nina had taken the kids to the pool for the day so it was a 50/50 chance when Hadley fell asleep on the way, if she would wake up in a good mood or not...she did!

Good times with Good Friends

Hayden and one of his best buds. They have a blast together, and are a lot alike. They are going to Kanakuk together this July for a week!

Poor Hadley, she is obsessed with animals and doesn't have one. When we go to friends houses and they have a dog, she stalks the dog. Notice Callie's teeth as Hadley is petting her. She is also growling (the dog).

Baseball season is here and we LOVE going to watch Hayden play! Drew is one of the 3 coaches for the 3rd year.
